Roller rink rental in Wilkes-Barre, PA

A portable roller rink rental in Wilkes-Barre is a different pad from the city-run Public Square sheet — a 23 × 73 foot public rink with advertised free skate loaners — and different from Mohegan Arena. River Common lots and indoor rooms are the usual portable conversation.

Planning a portable rink in Wilkes-Barre, PA

Plan the event

Start a Wilkes-Barre roller rink rental quote with a lot, a river lawn, or an indoor room — not Public Square in season, and not the arena as a vacant NHL product.

Local pad and venue notes

Public Square already has a civic winter program when that sheet is up. Mohegan Arena at Casey Plaza is a show building, not empty ice. River Common and marked lots are where a portable rectangle is honest. Indoor rooms cover a thaw.

What guests experience

Wilkes-Barre already ices Public Square. That city-run sheet is a winter amenity, not a vacant portable pad. A portable roller rink rental is how a private party, a school event, or a civic weekend on a different lawn still gets ice. Mohegan Arena is a show building. We do not quote an 85 × 200 ft NHL portable sheet there. River Common and marked lots are the larger path. Indoor rooms keep a party running through a thaw. Send the week and whether the city square rink is already in. We review compact and civic portable sizes on the pad the city is not already using.

Truck and load-in access

Do not send Public Square as vacant in season. Arena load-in is a show calendar. Lots need marked stalls and night lighting.

Calendar and weather

The city square sheet owns obvious winter weekends when it is up. Indoor rooms cover a thaw. Send the week.

How it works

How a Wilkes-Barre quote is planned

1

Measure the usable footprint

In Wilkes-Barre we review 20 × 40 ft, 30 × 60 ft, and 40 × 60 ft. Send the usable rectangle at River Common or a marked lot, not Public Square. We do not replace the 23 × 73 city rink. We do not quote a permanent rink as a portable product.

2

Choose indoor, outdoor, or covered

The city square already covers a lot of outdoor public skating when it is up. Indoor rooms keep a private party running through a thaw.

3

Review what happens after submission

Wilkes-Barre requests are checked first for whether you sent Public Square as vacant. Then the lot or indoor room is reviewed.

Wilkes-Barre roller rink rental FAQs

Answers for a portable rink request on a measured event pad.

Can I rent a portable roller rink in Wilkes-Barre for an event?
Yes. Wilkes-Barre roller rink rental requests are reviewed from the actual pad, date, and about how many people will skate. Use the quote button on this page.
Can you run the Public Square rink?
No. That 23 × 73 foot city sheet is an existing winter program when it is installed. We review a different pad.
How much space do I need for a roller rink rental in Wilkes-Barre?
A 20 × 40 ft courtyard fits a hotel or indoor room (about 12–20 skaters). Most civic pads are 40 × 60 ft. A larger floor needs a marked lot. We do not quote a permanent rink as a portable product.
Should a January Wilkes-Barre rink be indoors?
Outdoor works for a short holiday window with a rain plan and a weather plan. All-day public hours belong indoors or under cover.
How many people can skate at once?
A courtyard sheet holds about 12–20. A civic 40 × 60 ft sheet holds about 40–65. Tell us whether skating is the headliner or one station at a larger party.
How do I start a Wilkes-Barre roller rink rental quote?
